Welcome to the 2023-2024 Annual Report of the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. This report provides an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the tremendous growth and achievements we have witnessed across our schools over the past year. It showcases the incredible work that takes place both inside and outside of our classrooms—work that is deeply rooted in our shared commitment to excellence in Catholic education.
This year marks the second year of our Pastoral Plan and brings us to the halfway point of our Multi-Year Strategic Plan. Our Pastoral theme, Strengthen, reminds us of the empowering words from scripture, “I can do all things through the One who strengthens me.” As People of God, we are listening and responding, strengthened in our resolve to share the Gospel in all that we do.
Our achievements, as outlined in the following pages, are a testament to the dedication of our educators, the unwavering support of our parents, and the tireless commitment of our staff. Together, we are a vibrant, inclusive community, deeply rooted in Catholic values, nurturing an environment where every student can flourish academically, socially, and spiritually.
This report is structured around the three pillars that guide our mission: Quality, Inclusive, Faith-Based Education. Through these, we offer a comprehensive overview of our commitment to excellence in education. We hope that as you explore these pages, you will be both informed by our successes and inspired by the light our students carry into the world.
